NEW VIDEO SERIES TO EXPLORE THE CHANGING NATURE OF MULTI-SITE FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
NOVEMBER 1, 2018
As consumer preferences and expectations evolve, chain retail stores increasingly serve as cornerstones of communities and commercial centers. Innovative retail chains are incorporating new services and features to meet these consumer expectations, making stores destinations where customers can eat, retrieve packages, get medical attention, and have unique entertainment experiences.
At the same time, facilities management is undergoing a renaissance, driven by a realization that well designed, maintained and managed properties drive consumer satisfaction, operating profitability, and community standing. Today’s multi-site facility managers use data-driven analytics to optimize performance for dozens to hundreds of stores, combined with service and attention to the unique needs of each location.
In a unique communications partnership, the Professional Store Maintenance Association (PRSM) and ITN Productions are partnering to create a vibrant video series that will showcase the people, processes and organizations that are leading the changing nature of facilities management. Drawing upon ITN’s 60-year heritage and expertise in storytelling, the program will go on-location at some of the nation’s leading retail locations and commercial centers to highlight industry-leading practices, document the advancements in facilities management, and illustrate how facilities managers create and maintain positive, engaging spaces that support brand affinity and long-term customer loyalty. The series will also profile retail and multi-unit facilities management field as a career with exciting and fulfilling growth opportunities.
Managing Places: The Evolving World of Multi-Site Facilities Management will be an in-depth, online program featuring interviews, news items and sponsored editorial profiles of leaders and key organizations essential to the future of multi-unit consumer spaces. The program will be premiered at PRSM’s National Conference, April 29 – May 1, 2019 in Denver, CO.
Bill Yanek, Chief Executive Officer, PRSM, said: “PRSM is proud to represent the most influential, forward-looking multi-site companies that are leading the evolution of the in-person consumer experience. PRSM is committed to supporting and telling the stories of the facilities managers that are the behind-the-scenes champions essential to exceptional on-the-ground experiences.”
Bruce Condit, Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, PRSM, said: “As retail evolves, PRSM members face new challenges – from supporting in-store fulfillment of online orders, to managing spaces that serve multiple consumer needs under one roof. We believe this program will provide new insight, tools, techniques and partners that can help deliver exceptional experiences and great bottom line results.”
Greg Melia, CAE, Vice President of Program Development for Industry News USA, said “We are thrilled to be partnering with PRSM to spotlight growth and innovation in multi-site facilities management.
